I have spent the majority of my working life in the customer service industry, in my position as Director of Branksome China, England, a porcelain manufacturer and retailer, the ability to multitask, prioritize and organize both myself and others was essential. Responsible for day to day accounting I am used to handling money and reconciling daily takings. I compiled a database of customers, using Excel, which enabled me to maintain contact via mail shots, using Word mail merge and I would maintain our relationships with premium customers with additional phone and email contact. I was also responsible for handling the more complex customer issues, resolving the occasional complaint, chasing up orders and generally ensuring the customer’s experience in dealing with our company was a positive one.
My customer service and phone skills were strengthened further working on the front desk at The Arts University Bournemouth. As an MA alumna of the university I would give tours of the campus to prospective students, tailoring the tours to the specific needs of each student, answering all questions and promoting the university with enthusiasm.
I have spent the last four years working as an unpaid freelance design consultant for my two eldest sons’ company and renovating and remodeling both my parents' house in England and my new home in Pahrump, however I have missed the buzz of working full-time and am more than ready to commit to full-time employment in a position where I can further develop the skills I possess, learn new skills and become a valuable team member. I have an interest in vacancy of independent sales representative, independent manufacturer representative, independent sales agent, independent trade agent.
