Baurom is a family business, started in 1995 by Cristian Ionescu. At the present time, the Ionescu family is still the sole shareholder of the company.
The warehouse has a total area of 37.000 square meters, and includes 4 covered spaces totalling 14.000 square meters, and also direct acces to the railroad. The company has around 200 employees, and keeps a permanent stock of approximately 9.000 tons of material. Sales representatives, manufacturer representatives, sales agents, trade agents are needed for Baurom.

The distribution is made up of flat and long metallurgical products, and starting with 2013 includes building and finishing materials as well. The transport of the goods is made primarily with the firm’s own fleet of 14 trucks. The processing activity is divided in two: metallic structures (including oxygas and plasma cutting of plates and sheets), and cutting and bending of reinforcement bars.
